    Strange, most slicer varieties have at least some bumps, though not as pronounced as most picking varieties. Maybe you’re used to Persians?

      Wow, I never realised that cucumbers in America are different! Our variety is apparently the English one.

        There are a bunch of different varieties! Sometimes the bumps on smaller cukes will even have little spikes.
