It actually does, just got a new car with the smart lane assist and cruise control and it’s honestly really nice. It’s not full self driving or anything and it often gets confused on big bends, areas with construction or roads with little to no lines, but on highways and major roads it’s just nice.

ExLisper@linux.community 9 months agoYes but how? I’m genuinely curious. If you still have to pay attention to the turns and (I imagine) other cars what load is it taking over? I only have cruise control and I see not having to check my speed makes a big difference, I dong have to worry I’m going over the limit. But unless I can just ignore the road I dont see how self driving helps. Not having to steer on gentle turns really makes a difference?
