That is my perception of the people that still, after everything, remain there.
The ex-Twitter is exactly the same as Truth Social or the like to me, and it’s hard to take anyone seriously who still exists there as an individual. Brands I can understand, since just holding a handle and linking to your primary social medias is worth something, but individual people… can’t really hope for them to be sensible or worth my time if they exist in, or even worse, actively use, ex-Twitter

Way too often, news sites primarily rely on twitter.
For example, yesterday I wanted to know which countries voted against the UN resolution. I used Google, found a news site with the info, but it was an embedded tweet with an image.
And to enlarge the tweet, I had to click on it and it opened the tweet on Twitter.
Same is also true for a lot of videos on what’s happening in Gaza or Ukraine.

I think it’s important that we start openly treating stories that are “tweeted” as dubious. Twitter is a platform that promotes fascism, racism, misogyny, anti-semitism, homophobia, bigotry and other conservative ideologies. It should be treated as the nefarious latrine of lies that it is.
