Why’s that? I’ve also watched (and liked) the entire first season, but I’m pretty sure it contains no yuri or yaoi whatsoever. Which is for the best, considering most of the main characters are kids.

yes. there is virtually no romance in this show. I mean yuri more in the general sense of “girl having good chemistry and interacting with each other”. When I say “people who like yuri”, i mean it like “people who like animes with cute girls interacting with each other”.
the yaoi comes later :D (again, virtually no romance, just like with the yuri)
