If there’s something stupid that Apple does, people will talk about using Windows or Android instead. You’re the weird one for getting angry about something that’s completely expected.
Comment on Windows 10 gets three more years of security updates, if you can afford them

I’m the weird one for getting sick and tired of people like you forcing Linux into every fucking conversation, making this entire website about Linux?
If there’s a thread about something stupid Apple does, the comments are about the stupid thing. Learn to stay on topic, holy shit.
You’re obviously the guy at Christmas that won’t shut up about a singular topic and everyone tries to make excuses to leave the room.

Loo, if you can’t handle that people here like Linux, you’re probably better off just leaving the site altogether and going to somewhere like Reddit. Lemmy is FOSS, which is the main ethos behind Linux.
You’re like the kid who goes into a McDonalds and then complains that they don’t serve fois gras there. What the fuck did you expect? It’s a fucking McDonald’s. They’re not gonna have that shit there.

I can’t handle how fucking obsessive this website is about one singular topic. You guys are a broken record. You never shut the fuck up about Linux.

This is literally a discussion about operating systems, and how Windows is about to do something that will directly push people into needing or choosing a new one. Even without Lemmy’s culture this is an obvious time to mention Linux. You can bitch and cry and screech all you want, but you’re the one getting your panties in a bunch when Linux is literally on topic here.
KrummsHairyBalls@lemmy.ca 11 months ago
Linux isn’t on topic.
It’s literally about Windows.
Do you see a post about the PS5 and start talking about the SNES?
LinyosT@sopuli.xyz 11 months ago
Except thats not how discussions work.
People dont JUST strictly talk about the thing at hand and ONLY that. They bring up related things as well. Like Linux and how its an alternative to Windows 10 once it’s support period is up.
Kind of like how someone might bring up the SNES in a discussion about the PS5 to make some kind of relevant point. Like how far consoles have come from the SNES to the PS5 or a game library comparison. Or something.
