I’ve always thought that the purge would only really work in the US in Europe it would be more awkward than deadly.
Basically everybody would just be rude to each other.

Those movies never really made much sense. Surely the first thing people would do is find a way to make money or get free stuff. Maybe you have a few enterprising bank robbers, but most people would probably just loot.
Granted, people get shot for way less in the US all the time, so maybe it’s better to just stay home and get high.
