so. i would suggest you go to the library, and ask the librarian for a book talking about the causes of ww1. there’s more than a few.
Archduke Ferdinand’s assassination triggered a complex web of alliances and perhaps more importantly, mutual defense treaties. The assassination was the tipping point for an already stressed world into global, total war.
Israel and Palestine both have their own complex web of alliances. the world is stressed. Hypthetically: Iran and a few others are going to go to war, on the side of palestine, the US, most the west including UK, are going to pile in on the side of Israel. this will draw in the russians, china, NK, the southern hemisphere might get involved through BRICS.
Ooops. the good news is nuclear winter is the solution to global warming nobody was talking about. The bade news is… humanity destroyed civilization as we know it.
Nobody would do what you claim over some tiny place nobody* cares about. Especially not Russia or North Korea.

This is about US hegemony in the middle east. It has very little to do with a little strip.
Saudi Arabia was on the verge of normalizing relations with Israel. Suddenly there's a Hamas attack on Israel? Thinking this is only about Gaza is like thinking a cake is only about eggs.
First off, Iran wants conflict with America. And there’s plenty of Americans (and indeed Americans in power) who want that fight too.
There’s assholes everywhere.
And then there’s dumbasses, everywhere, too. I imagine people said the same thing before Ferdinand was shot.

The only time I heard Rush Limbaugh say something I agreed with was when he suggested we need to address climate change “not to save the planet, but to save ourselves”
