I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon of if you personally should be getting the ban.....

....but their ban system would be pretty poor if that was all you needed to evade it. In general ban evasion is a good thing and needed and things like browser, settings and OS fingerprint and IP address and so forth would all need to be factored in.
