Comment on GOP Mayoral Candidate Says She Won't 'Discriminate' Against White Supremacists
Blamemeta@lemm.ee 1 year agoIt might be more complicated than I realize, but it seems to me that some jackass looking for fame wrote a book designed to get banned, and when it was, they got a bunch of journalists to write articles about it.
And now a bunch of “useful idiots” come to the defense because John Oliver told them to, or something like that.

Five seconds of searching the internet told me the author’s intended age group for that book was 16+. The person you’re talking to is spewing propaganda and bad faith arguments.

Thank you. I admit I was being lazy, but I leaned heavily toward something like what you said being the case.

I’ve heard a lot of this kind of nonsense lately and felt exactly the same as you. Today I finally felt motivated enough to look it up and confirm.

A picture book for 16+? I doubt it, and even if it was, thats still not appropriate for a school library.

It’s a graphic novel not a picture book but you either know that and don’t care or are too ignorant to understand the difference. Either way, you’re not worth engaging with any further than this comment.
