Explanation: In the Roman poetic epic of the Aeneid, the gods often quarrel over the fate of the Trojan (Anatolia, modern-day Turkiye) hero Aeneas, each seeking to manipulate him and the people around him for their own ends.
Queen Dido of Carthage (North Africa) falls in love with Aeneas (in no small part by the manipulation of the gods), and claimed that they were married (Aeneas claimed “Hell nah, no common law marriage out here"). Aeneas, however, is reminded by other gods of his destiny to found Rome, and so leaves Dido (and Carthage) to continue his journey.
Dido is extremely upset at this, cursing Aeneas and his descendants as he leaves, and calls upon her patron goddess, Juno, goddess of family, for assistance.
Juno sends the goddess of the rainbow to make Dido die faster, once Dido runs herself through with a sword. Such mercy!

The Aeneid is such a piece of blatant propaganda. Not recommended.
