Comment on Spotify Premium Will Include Instant Access to 150,000+ Audiobooks (UK/AUS tomorrow, US to follow)

Will the books be relentlessly interrupted by shitty ads? If so, then no thanks.

The podcasts are bad enough, with their weasel-worded ‘listen to music ad-free’ tagline for premium meaning that on top of the podcasts’ ads, Spotify inserts ads at completely random points. Knowing that most people are listening to podcasts while their hands are busy doing something else

To start, we’re offering each Premium individual, as well as plan managers for Family and Duo accounts, 15 hours of listening per month—giving them the ability to enjoy as many titles as they want within that monthly allocation.

Sweet, so if I want to listen to audiobooks with premium, and I listen to one hour a day, by the middle of the month I have to pay to continue listening? Fuck off with this shit.
