You fail to provide the evidence of your claims as I asked and try to place the burden on me and deflect.

You mean when I put, “That said, I don’t think 100 000s, much less millions, have gone to re-education camps in Guantanamo;”?

Yeah, I don’t have hard evidence for that.

I’ll also say that Cuba’s south of Tijuana, but I haven’t checked a map to make sure.

Could you provide ≥3 examples of easy manipulation and astroturfing, please? Are you saying when Wikipedia says mean things about Hitler or Trump, I shouldn’t believe it?

See, that’s what I’m talking about, 2 of the known tricks.

1 return the question for evidence

2 the classic “are you saying…” followed by nonsense I didn’t say. (use of fallacies)

But I’ll answer you anyway since it’s easy.

That 13 year-old article seems to indicate that attempts were made, but doesn’t seem to provide examples.

Tankie Tube?!? Why not. I wonder how many of its videos are also on Rumble and Bitchute.

But yeah, I suppose the Zionists are trying to influence Wikipedia. Ditto anti-Zionists.

I wonder how many times have they tried to edit articles such as wp:Gaza genocide.

By your standards, as it’s from Wikipedia, it must be a garbage article.

This links to Shitler!

Didn’t some commies in the early days use swastikas?

But yeah, their existence alone justified the Russian invasion.

Ukrainians must bow to the Kremlin yet again.

Political Staffers Tried to Delete the Senate Scandal (and Other Bad Behaviour) from Wikipedia

This article is 12 years old.

They tried.

So I guess over 15 years ago this edit was reversed in under 13¼ minutes.

There are plenty more examples.

There are complete websites dedicated to exposing Wikipedia.

wikipediasucks.co/forum/

What about Wikireview?

Here’s a frickin’ long article:

wp:Criticism of Wikipedia.

Also, wp:Category:Criticism of Wikipedia has 18 pages and a subcat.

wp:Adolf Hitler

Hitler and the Nazis were also responsible for the deliberate killing of an estimated 19.3 million civilians and prisoners of war. In addition, 28.7 million soldiers and civilians died as a result of military action in the European theatre. The number of civilians killed during World War II was unprecedented in warfare, and the casualties make it the deadliest conflict in history.

What garbage! Don’t you agree?

(Because, you know, as you put it, Wikipedia is garbage.)

Really anyone referring to WP as a credible source can’t be taken seriously. [ … ] Simple mouthpieces and an insult to journalistic standards and conventions.

No offense, but while Wikipedia isn’t gospel, it’s quick enough for me.

Also, how does the West fund Uighurs, with China’s ubiquitous surveillance?

And here we go again with the propaganda claims of “ubiquitous surveillance”

Big Brother protects them.

How do Chinese people view surveillance cameras? #China

Think it’s hard to get money to groups?

How did they fund the Taliban, Somalian terrorists or their good friend, the headchopper Jolani in Syria?

Is it hard to fund them when they can even get from China all the way to Syria, where they to this day massacre minorities?

Red China probably has more and stricter border controls, has been around for several decades, and the government seems to control the population more.

So are you saying that bin Laden’s still alive?

Oh look, another “are you saying” fallacy followed by putting words into my mouth.

Yes, he’s hiding and sometimes seen with Elvis in Las Vegas!

In case you never noticed, this guy was old and never looked healthy.

He was a kidney patient and in those 15 years ‘missing’ he probably died of kidney failure.

So nothing spectacular or conspiracy theories.

This was reported by many sources, including his wives who said he had apparently recovered from two kidney operations.

Of course ‘US intelligence sources’ the most credible people on the planet deny this.

Otherwise their Hollywood capture mission wouldn’t fly.

First off, some might take issue with you calling someone under 55 years of age “old.”

Not only do I hope that you celibate your 55th birthday, when it comes, as a person with much vigor and vitality, but that there’s a good chance you will. (If you eat right, exercise, listen to your doctor, maybe take supplements, and don’t be a terrorist, you might be able to run 100 meters in under 20 seconds and blow out all the candles in 2 tries, maybe 1.)

The way I figure it, you are denying that he died in that reported assassination, which means he either lived, or he died earlier, and I guess further that you’re saying that he died earlier.

Okay.

I’m not going to argue this with you because it sounds a bit credible.

What if the US murdered him in their operation?

What if he died before?

What if he lived, perhaps still lives, either quietly, or in some black room?

Does it change my view of the US?

Not really.

Thank you for your valid points in this.

I’ll keep it in mind.

If you really are acting in good faith I suggest you inform yourself better and look up multiple and credible sources before you make claims and form an opinion.

Yes, but I have a life to live, and perhaps time spent on such research, while perhaps fruitful, might yet be better spent on other things.
