I wonder if it has to do with their username itself. Maybe it’s not being parsed right due to the unusual character? 🤷♂️
Yes, OP could make a new user with the same name on another lemmy server and see if it is hidden or not.

I’ve seen several users with unresolvable usernames that were basic western text, this is an ongoing issue and I always report it to the mods but apparently it’s still happening.
