I thinks the issue is more that the sentences have been said before. Ai tends to feel vapid because it is a recycling program. It’s lack of genuine creativity makes it feel repetitive even if it generates something slightly unique.

i mean i wasn’t that creative when i was young. my “great invention” was a simple hydrogen fuel cell, something that had been invented (in a far more elegant form than mine) 50 years prior.

This doesn’t even make sense. Inventing a hydrogen fuel cell independently is creative work. Inventing one only because you’ve seen it’s patent before is recycling.
