I’ve been playing Pokemon Too Many Types, a rom hack of emerald that triples the number of types and gives each pokemon new typing, up to three types per pokemon. It’s a lot of fun to try and figure out the brainrot logic. For example, gamer type pokemon are weak to water and grass, because they don’t shower or touch grass, probably. Freshens everything up and pulls in quite a few pokemon from further in the series. Starters are poplio, a water/silly type, fennekin, a fire/fluffy type, and chikorita, a grass/bean type.
It’s a beautiful mess.

He’s the furry type gym leader, though no one will say it to you out loud. And he has a lopunny, and a vaporeon, and his lucario has bone rush… Is this why he lives in a different town than you and mom? Oh no furry is weak to dragon type? Oh no…

I might try that. I’m a big fan of rom hacks that are just random shit tossed into a metaphorical sink. So it sounds like fun
