Set the VPN location to a country
Isn’t that a paid feature on most if not all VPNs that gluetun supports?

Use this extension: addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/…/ttv-lol-pro/
Run your own proxy that supports tons of VPNs: github.com/qdm12/gluetun
Set the VPN location to a country that doesn’t or can’t get ads (Costa Rica is a good one since they’re in the test region for 2k streaming).
Set the extension to use the proxy.
No more Twitch ads.

Most VPNs are better as a paid customer anyways. Mullvad is $6 a month and I get nearly my full Internet speed while using it. Invest in your own privacy.
I know but the problem is that if you pay for a VPN, that’s traceable which has its own sorts of issues (not to even mention KYC-like laws).
If there was a VPN service that was a, like, one-time payment only or that accepted giftcards that could be easier.
Mullvad literally let’s you pay with cash in an unmarked envelope with your account token if you want to
Like the one they referenced and many others?

Another option is to not use Twtich. There’s literally a jillion other things to do online.
