Ya think librals don’t have a carbon copy version of what you’re discussing? Replace a trailor park with a low income housing project and boom, you’re the pot calling the kettle black.
This isn’t a statement made by a sad person, this is just a fact.
Why are you so willing to take the word of OP as a fact? You don’t believe a single word is even slightly misleading, or chosen specifically to bend the truth and garnish support? OP described his entire life in 15 seconds in one paragraph and you’re like “Yea that true”.

Seriously?
Are you seriously comparing low income housing to white trash bigots?
No, we aren’t doing whataboutism here — nor are we entertaining your reductive reasoning. They simply described that, as a child, they were aware something was wrong. Clearly many people here empathize with that.

No Mr. strawman, I’m comparing trailer parks to low income housing … And don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of great people who grew up in trailer parks and there’s a lot of great people who grew up in low income inner city areas; but it goes both ways. There isn’t a problem that one political party has that the other party doesn’t have an analagous problem. And that’s not whataboutism, it’s a consistency check.
Yes. And that’s fine. What I took issue with was the implication that the thing that was “deeply wrong” was due to the fact that the family was conservative and not some other deeply rooted issue. For all we know the family being republicans contributed the OPs issues as much as John Wayne Gacy being a democrat contributed to him being a serial killer.
This post was created to piggypack on this platforms popular idea that “conservative bad”, and all I’m doing is calling it out.
