Whenever I run into a brit I ask them if they like coffee and peanut butter and I’ve gotten more “no” than “yes” on both questions. I expect for most people who didn’t grow up with peanut butter as a kid it will just not like it, sugared up or not.

Nope. Fuck that. Peanuts? Yes. Butter? Yes. Sauce (e.g., stir fry)? Yes. With chocolate? Yes. Protein shake? Yes. Sandwich? Yes. Curry? Yes. A pastry? Yes. Savory? Yes.
The entire world agrees that peanuts need to be gargled.
