I have wondered the same about scammers. Like, if their mother knew they were going to do that with their life, she’d probably regret all of that wasted effort raising them.

If I recall correctly, she was a drug addict working at a hospital, and almost died by OD on opiates she’d stolen from work. Vance claims publicly that it was those darned illegals that got her addicted to drugs and almost killed her
