  I guess my realization is more about just how simple the argument is for not torturing animals.

  Like even owning a pet means you took that poor fellow away from its family. We should probably stop owning animals like that.

    Given that my pets were adopted from animal shelters, I’d like to think that I gave them a significant lifestyle upgrade.
