The Super Bowl half time show is usually criticized by republicans because pop culture tends to have a left leaning bias. Last year was Kendrick Lamar.

As an outsider, Iâm impressed that the NFL somehow managed to troll people with the show for two years in a row. It would be super easy to choose someone inoffensive. Didnât expect the handegg organization, of all people, to be leftist in any way (by US standards).

I dont think its the NFL trolling as much as it is that the market analysts believe the people they are picking will drum up publicity for the show.
