MehBlah@lemmy.world 2 days agoWhy buy one when a superior one can be 3d printed? Hard to stop people from printing them. I’ve printed thousands over the years. I’m unfamiliar with the one shown in the article. The ones I print are very loud but probably take more time than those to print per unit.

I’ve 3d printed a number of whistles that were not good enough. A few that did work at all. I really understand. I’ve saw the one in the picture on different sites but am satisfied with the one I chose.

Okay and I’m sure a bought one is. The 3d printed ones do just fine and they are cheap. Cheaper per unit in production than anything other than a huge order from china.
