Why wouldn’t they just say noah and his kids went fishing for food the carnivores? It’s always funny when christians come up with weird answers when a more logical one is right there. Pt that i think noah or his boat existed just that if i was on a boat with hungry meat eaters i’d probably go fishing.
It’s all too silly to actually engage with it, but I think Answers in Genesis are talking about carnivorous dinosaurs potentially becoming ‘vegetarian’ for the duration of their stay on the ark: answersingenesis.org/…/dinosaurs-ark-how-possible…

But the kids might ask questions:
- How big was the one window on the ark?
- Why put only a single door in the side?
- Why would an all knowing god specify dimensions for an ark to take all the animals that in no way could facilitate even a fraction of the animals on Earth?
- Why is the church so cool with children being raped?
- Jesus seems pretty clear that being rich makes getting into heaven a tough pull, does Ken Ham want to go to hell?
- In a universe ruled over by an all knowing, all good, and all powerful deity… Ken Ham, WTF???

Why the fuck do they even need to talk about (non-avian) dinosaurs at all? If the point they’re trying to address is “how did meat eaters on the ark survive?” they could just as easily talk about lions, tigers, wolves, etc.

It’s such a stupidly adult concern too. Tell the kids they ate meatloaf. They’re kids. They’ll buy it.
Well ideally the person telling a science teacher to peddle religious doctrine should be stuffed into a cannon and fired at a brick wall, but as an intellectual exercise…

And… if only there was a method that could be used to test how well that would have worked…
