Comment on Well we certainly aren't talking about the Epstein files.
nesc@lemmy.cafe 3 days agoNothing in there would change anything, trump can rape an underage paraplegic boy live and nothing would happen. It’s a useful toolfor his handlers to distract people that oppose his regime from everything else.

That’s actually not true. I’ve seen a significant portion of MAGA say that if there was some irrefutable proof Trump raped kids then they would split. Now, the term “irrefutable” is doing some heavy lifting, as they would probably say it’s AI or something, but that is what a lot have been saying.
There’s still a frighteningly large portion of MAGA that would stick with him even if proven he raped 100 kids and murdered a baby (or gave the order to).

The problem is hoping that something will make MAGA change or bring them back to reality. That’s appealing to the wrong people to operate the levers of justice. But that’s the only ones we ever direct this discourse at because we’re conditioned to think that change comes from arguing with people.
And not from [redacted]

Yup. This is why the dems lose; they keep trying to change minds on the right instead of trying to inspire the working class that is starving for representation.

They say it, but it’s a cult so the leader can’t do wrong especially when he has government and media on his side, so nothing will happen.

In reality, probably not. Of all MAGA who say that, maybe 20% of them actually end up leaving, maybe.

That's not an insignificant number.
