Who reads any article these days? Only total losers and bozos read anything more than the headline.
(I read a different article that was much shorter from reddit, then saw this headline)

I wouldn’t put it past Google to help censor for Israel, but there’s a very real chance that these videos may have just violated whatever obtuse terms they have, maybe something with gore/violence? I don’t know.
- Comment on US government shutdown ties record for longest in history 6 days ago:
Trump and all House Republicans (except for maybe 3-4) can get fucked. Why do they think they don’t need to negotiate and hold hostage the healthcare and food of the entire American populace?
As they’ve literally said about themselves: “We are all domestic terrorists.” They’re acting as domestic terrorists right now and millions will die because of less than 300 people.

“Bad times are good for Palantir” -Alex Karp, CEO
Things are about to get real bad in the world (even worse than they are now)

Deep Christians are the perfect group for grifting, and these evil fucks use that info all the time. It’s like why the “Nigerian Prince” scam is so obvious, it automatically sorts out those that are the easiest dooped, to funnel them into even more money extraction scams.

I mean, I think the point of the post is generally how to live in the world. Of course there are almost infinite obscure facts and skills, but I get your point.
- Comment on Does anyone know? 5 weeks ago:
If you invest a lot in to learning as much as possible when younger, then by like late 20s you can get a decent sense of things. But even then it’s a tiny percentage of everything.

No it’s not. It may not be AI but it’s not a real location. Look at the clouds. Look at the actual shape of it, where the “head” matches a little too closely. Natural shores wouldn’t form like that. The tree line is really fake. Look at any one point closer than just a glance and it doesn’t really make sense geographically when you think about it.
It’s kind of crazy/sad you can’t tell.

Do people think this is real…? When you can use AI to make anything it’s not really special anymore, because it’s so common.

That would actually be really neat to see. Is it possible to see the age distribution? There’s really no way to know, I don’t think

- Comment on First time posters be like 2 months ago:
The mods just do great work in some subs, but completely destroy others. I got banned overall for posting facts in conservative subs…
But I don’t think lemmy fixes that since it has the same mod/channel structure. The nice thing is that advertisers and nefarious actors haven’t started posting as “fellow kids” yet, like they have on Reddit for many years.
- Comment on First time posters be like 2 months ago:
Reddit has been shit for like 5+ years at that larger levels, but some small niche hobby and similar subs are still decent.
- Comment on Some little baby Mycena leaiana with some kind of little beetle guy hanging out 2 months ago:
I was banned for posting facts in conservative subreddits with 2 accounts, and somehow that’s ban-worthy. I swear conservatives (fascists) are the biggest snowflakes of all.
But now I can’t post in all the cool little niche subs like weeviltime, hobbies, solarpunk, etc.
- Comment on Computer Science, a popular college major, has one of the highest unemployment rates 2 months ago:
I don’t think this is even the big effect we’ll be seeing from AI. think that’ll occur over the next 12-24 months, as LLM operationalization occurs and matures the implementations.

I can’t fully support that, but I’ll just add that it would sound better to say “the whole character set of Super Smash Bros”
- Comment on Silicon Valley Is Panicking About Zohran Mamdani. NYC’s Tech Scene Is Not 2 months ago:
The rise of fascism in the mid-1920s to late 1930s was a direct response by the ruling capitalists to the ascent of real, populist/socialist/communist changes that actually threatened their power and wealth for the first time in history. It happened all over the world (well at least Europe), and it totally makes sense what we’re seeing now all over the world.

awwww yeah it’s weevil time! (I got banned from reddit so I can’t post in /r/weeviltime)
