No it’s not. It may not be AI but it’s not a real location. Look at the clouds. Look at the actual shape of it, where the “head” matches a little too closely. Natural shores wouldn’t form like that. The tree line is really fake. Look at any one point closer than just a glance and it doesn’t really make sense geographically when you think about it.
It’s kind of crazy/sad you can’t tell.

Do people think this is real…? When you can use AI to make anything it’s not really special anymore, because it’s so common.

That would actually be really neat to see. Is it possible to see the age distribution? There’s really no way to know, I don’t think

“Fact’s”
What the fuck is wrong with kids today? They’re getting dumber and dumber

The mods just do great work in some subs, but completely destroy others. I got banned overall for posting facts in conservative subs…
But I don’t think lemmy fixes that since it has the same mod/channel structure. The nice thing is that advertisers and nefarious actors haven’t started posting as “fellow kids” yet, like they have on Reddit for many years.

Reddit has been shit for like 5+ years at that larger levels, but some small niche hobby and similar subs are still decent.

I was banned for posting facts in conservative subreddits with 2 accounts, and somehow that’s ban-worthy. I swear conservatives (fascists) are the biggest snowflakes of all.
But now I can’t post in all the cool little niche subs like weeviltime, hobbies, solarpunk, etc.

I don’t think this is even the big effect we’ll be seeing from AI. think that’ll occur over the next 12-24 months, as LLM operationalization occurs and matures the implementations.

Thanks, basic smartphones have great cameras these days

I can’t fully support that, but I’ll just add that it would sound better to say “the whole character set of Super Smash Bros”

The rise of fascism in the mid-1920s to late 1930s was a direct response by the ruling capitalists to the ascent of real, populist/socialist/communist changes that actually threatened their power and wealth for the first time in history. It happened all over the world (well at least Europe), and it totally makes sense what we’re seeing now all over the world.

awwww yeah it’s weevil time! (I got banned from reddit so I can’t post in /r/weeviltime)
Looks to be a green short-nosed weevil (Phyllobius sp.)!!

Whoa those are mesmerizing! I would want to put some little LEDs underneath them at night so they glow red and orange.
