This series feels very Quints-coded. Though, as conceited as he might be, the MC is actually a lot of fun. I will take an MC that knows he is hot shit over a bland, boring MC any day. He isn’t afraid to use the power of money to pursue his goals and he seems like he has a good head on his shoulders. Also, it turns out he has a healthy gut! @rikka@ani.social

While I agree in general, I still found this MC to be unlikable. Where are the good rom-com MC’s of seasons past? Where are the Ryūjis (toradora), Yuutas (Chu2Koi), Hachimans (oregairu), etc?
