It’s not that I think they’ll do a bad job. Quite the opposite! It’s more that even if they do a great job I don’t feel like that would provide an experience sufficiently different from the manga to justify my time when there’s so much great stuff constantly coming out these days.

Ah, ok. I felt like the last couple of chapters were just kinda bad, so I feel like a KyoAni touch could do a lot. But if you feel like the manga is overall ok, I can see why you'd feel like KyoAni won't massively improve anything/bring anything new.
