For bonus points, i dont think OP is understanding that time flows linearly and at some point they will become the ‘old guard’ themselves, thus completing the cycle of ‘generation hate/love’

People have always sucked, people have always not sucked. Maturing should be realizing that it sucks to hate others blindly.

You do not mature automatically as you age. Life experiences and growth are what mature you. Some people have too much maturing at a young age. Some people have not enough at an older age.
