Can’t remember seeing a fan of Musk, here or on reddit, in ages. Where are these people?!
Comment on Collectively, Lemmy has a substantive comment issue
cosmic_slate@dmv.social 1 year agoI click on Lemmy and browse by /new all the time. I genuinely can’t remember the last time I ever saw a pro-Elon post across at least:
- !politics@lemmy.world
- !politics@beehaw.org
- !news@lemmy.world
- !worldnews@lemmy.world
- !technology@lemmy.world
- !technology@lemmy.ml
Even the EV communities are very muted about him and Tesla.
So can you link specific examples of where you’re finding this pro-Elon nonsense?

You’re right. That is a strawman fallacy, but you’re the one making it.
I called them Elon spam posts. Never said they were pro-Elon. It’s people regurgitating his PR, becoming useful idiots for the billionaire who thinks all PR is good PR so long as it keeps him in the daily news cycle.

If they aren’t then you are misusing the meme format and it doesn’t make any sense. Making a post and commenting on it with the exact same sentiment is “the same”.

Sure, I cannot wait to stop hearing about him, pro/anti/whatever. But do you not see how you’re contributing to it by spamming back? The image you posted suggests you make an effort to reply with more discussion on the matter.
