    Sneaker related violence was a big deal a few decades ago in the US, and Air Jordans were at the center of it. He apologized plenty for it, but never actually changed anything.

    Shaq and Stephon Marbury were big NBA stars, but they sell their shoes for like $25, because they don’t want to fuck people over.

        Tl;Dr he’s a billionaire and he does the unethical asshole things you need to do to be a billionaire. Plus he was a jackass of a teammate, supposedly, but that’s probably a lower tier of criticism.

        Honestly it’s almost refreshing that he doesn’t have twenty rape accusations on the books.

    He’s a world renowned asshole and always has been.

    Which is also one of the personality traits that helped propel him to his greatness.
