toynbee@lemmy.world 3 days agoI don’t have any inside information, I’ve just read lemmy comments about it, but apparently there are a lot of source IP’s they block. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a reason why, but I’m guessing for either legality or privacy reasons.

My condolences to you. A VPN might help, though I think those are a lot of what they block. My phone (which is my primary method of accessing lemmy) has an always on VPN; some endpoints work for catbox, some don’t.
