I didn’t even mind back when the best “play place” my family went to was a restaurant that had a couple arcade cabinets tucked away in a corner like this - something about this picture just feels far more isolated. I guess it’s just the empty hallway - the arcades were just a few feet away from a table at the old restaurant.

They couldn’t even bother to at least keep it similar to those where they at least looked whimsical for the children. They were just colorful stands with 3 or 4 screens and knockoff looking controllers. Some had chairs others you had to stand because the controller height was weird.
These corpo twits are so out of touch with reality.

The controllers would be missing at least one button and half the fun was trying to figure out how far you could get with that.
