dontsayaword@piefed.social 3 weeks agoI guess, but Windows already ships with more rich-text editors like Wordpad. When I’m using notepad it’s because I want to see the pure raw unformatted text.

WordPad was removed by Windows 11 version 24H2.

So removing features to repackage them and brand as new?
Slightly more convenient i guess so that’s a rare win for microsoft
