Compared to the alternative political ideologies that those movements were founded on which theorize the structure for a more egalitarian and altruistic society.
Yes it does apply everywhere. Good for you for noticing. Almost like I fundamentally am opposed to modern society and believe it to be inherently oppressive and exploitative in its structure.
