Cricket@lemmy.zip 6 hours agoNo, I don’t think it would be worth their time and I also don’t think that they’re the types who would be inclined to resort to that in the first place. My point is that those posts expose the poster and the instance admins to action, if someone were litigious and lived in a litigious society that facilitated this.

Like I mentioned, I’m not a lawyer and have no legal training, but it seems to me that someone could legally force an instance to at a minimum provide IP logs, email addresses, etc.
