I did that too. Still nothing appears. There us a donation box in place of those advertisements.

Firefox blocks them by default. You have to turn off enhanced tracking protection.

I mean, I’m using Firefox now? Cromite blocks them by default too. I tested with as well.
If you’re gonna get all pointy, what I was trying to politely imply is your original statement is incorrect.

The ads don’t always show for me but they are there. I had to refresh and download the binary three times before getting a full screen splash ad.
