Mickey7@lemmy.world 2 days agoHow fortunate we would be if the country was ruled by a dictator and you were that person who could define for all of us what was funny and what was vile. Because we all know that things that you personally find funny are funny and things that hurt your feelings are bad. It would free the rest of us of ever having to think for ourselves or form our own opinions. Now for me as not the virtuous person that you are, I don’t go to stupid social media sites and “correct” people when their opinion of anything diverges from mine.

That’s the thing, under all those posts you make that people don’t like, you always leave these responses that are somehow so fixated on how humor is subjective, the sanctity of your own personal freedom and how wannabe dictators are trying to order you around, but in reality there is no dictator, there is just the 80% of your audience that’s made up of average human beings who find blondes being so stupid they let men sexually assult them in arbitrary situations fucking offensive and unrelatable.
I really just have one question for you: do you find this joke genuinely funny or just something that might be worth posting? I won’t try to convince you of anything if you answer but I would like to know.
