  The meme really got traction when 4chan spammed GameStops across the world asking if they had copies of Battletoads because it was their favorite game. I had actually forgotten that it originally was a response to people trying to figure out what an old game they could not remember was called (like the old “Sandstorm by Darude” meme) until reading your comment. lol
