    People generally don’t realize that they’re following fashion when they’re altering their body to fit the current fashion

      people will often label themselves as simply following their own beauty standards when their “own” is clearly influenced and by majority is the current fashion, simply because that’s all they have been exposed to. And thus they will justify following current fashion disguised as following their own unique style when more often than not it is simply not true
