We’re a tool using species. Fat fingers can pull a trigger just the same as non-fat fingers (unless they are exceptionally fat, sure I’ll give you that one).

If you mean they’re a danger to everyone in the vicinity, yes absolutely.
But they’d still be a shit soldier. Lot more to combat readiness than ability to pull a trigger. (Though if the USA wants to fill its armed forces with obese people I won’t complain lmao)
