I agree completely - Washington Post is a propaganda site. Though they did provide a detailed pdf with the full questions and methodology that is linked in this article. washingtonpost.com/…/sept-2-9-2025-washington-pos…
Comment on Poll indicates over 60% of Jews in the US believe Israel has committed war crimes

I know for a fact war crimes were committed by the allies in WWII.
Also it would be nice to know the exact wording of the question, samples size, margin of error, etc. because that can be relevant. But this looks to be another propaganda site trying to pass itself off as a news site. We can’t expect professional journalism from sites like that.

And in your mind that makes what Israel is doing completely fine??
OP already linked the PDF. Here’s a screenshot showing the question:

And here’s one from the referenced Pew survey:

Well it’s like Chief Wiggum saying “I heard there were some crimes in New York” “Oh you admit there’s crimes in New York? That makes you guilty!”
Crimes happen in every city. Crimes also happen in every war. Recognizing that crimes happen in war time has the same significance as recognizing the fact that crimes happen in cities. Feeling like you “got 'em!” because of the existence of crime puts you on the same level as Chief Wiggum. It’s really silly.
Also I need to remind you, holding civilians hostage is a war crime. Hamas has committed a continuous war crime since October 7. Do you go out and protest Hamas? Why not?

Funny you don’t see the irony of that actually being your argument.
What a ridiculous question. The vast majority of governments have made their feelings about Hamas very clear. Do you go out and protest crime?

Police brutality is a crime. Do you think it’s ridiculous to protest that?
