Comment on Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, a great looking game but with pacing issues

  Well, I enjoyed FF7, 6 and Last Remnant and some smaller RPGMaker made ones. So in my experience it is rather Ni no Kuni that is the outlier.

  I’ve played a lot of JRPGs in my time, and I can also say I don’t enjoy Ni no Kuni. It’s definitely more style than substance.
