- Comment on Never understood this. If something foreign enters you your white blood cells go after it like a dog in heat, Would this not mean that our cells are smart enough to discern bad from good? 3 days ago:
As far as I know, white blood cells move independently, crawling like amoebas or “millipedes” along vessel walls to reach infection sites. They use special adhesive “legs” to move at high speeds, even swimming in liquid using molecular “paddles”. WBCs actively exit blood vessels, following chemical signals to damaged tissue.

Nobody is obligated to have thick skin. And “white people” is so broad of a definition with such a different cultural background that you can’t assume how someone will react to prejudice based only on their skin color.
- Comment on [deleted] 3 weeks ago:
Hahaha it’s funny because it’s a stereotype that only involves white people!
- Comment on we need more users 1 month ago:
I’m worried that mods here are starting to abuse their power as have happened on Reddit and have seen some instances of it. A lot of people fled Reddit because of it and will not stick around for the same bullshit here.
So making mechanisms to prevent this kind of behavior must be a priority.

Maybe it wasn’t “that catastrophic” because measures were taken to mitigate the risk.

The Supreme Court equivalent tried that in Brazil, but soon discovered all government digital infrastructure depends on it and backpedaled.

I was making some ice, but substituted the water for baby oil. Now the ice feels liquid and squishy. Don’t know what I did wrong. Follow the recipe precisely!

Use Cachy for a while. Not a single issue so far. Very good distro for people who want the OS out of the way. The perfect compatibility with Nvidia is a plus!

More than a 100% price hike in my country. Just downgraded from ultimate to premium because my kid has an Xbox and it is still cheaper than buying the games individually.
But, otherwise I would have cancelled the plan.
