If it was placed there deliberately, I’d say there’s a near certainty the fluids were drained. It takes minutes to do.

Voyajer@lemmy.world 6 months agoIt’s located in a flooded strip mine, so that ship has sailed. Also from what I gathered it wasn’t in operating condition before it was put there so there is a small chance it has its fluids drained beforehand.

Several litres of oil in an abandoned mine would be infinitesimal compared to the existing contamination.
