This is the biggest problem with goobers like this, they hate the US, with good reason, but don’t quite grasp that the people the US are fighting aren’t automatically the good guys.
So they end up supporting some pretty horrific regimes.
- Comment on How the regime in Iran jams Starlink and what people could do 1 day ago:
Given that space isn’t owned by any one country, and Starlink is a US company, whose services are used by the US government, there’s a very good chance there would be military retaliation.

That will simply never happen, YouTube I think is a two digit percentage of global Internet traffic.

There’s a lot they don’t understand, to be honest.

Very much so, even someone in the trades could well be a millionaire when they retire.

The housing market is effed in a lot of places, no argument from me on that. But stringing up someone with a nest egg for their retirement isn’t the solution.

This platform is so incredibly out of touch with reality, especially the more left leaning side of things.
A millionaire these days just means you’ve paid off your mortgage and have a decent amount put away for retirement.

My experience was, about half just let the match time out, and most of the remaining half opened with something like “hey.”, or that gif of Monica from friends waving at you.
Also, a decent chunk of people had profiles on Tinder as well.

I love the fact that is actually a phrase you can read in a Wikipedia article.
- Comment on Musk says Tesla is moving Full Self-Driving to a monthly subscription 1 week ago:
They seem to be dropping the price until they find a price point where a decent percentage of their users will actually pay for the service.
If the system was genuinely self driving, as in the vehicle could run unattended, it would be worth having.
- Comment on Musk says Tesla is moving Full Self-Driving to a monthly subscription 1 week ago:
Nah, I suspect nobody was buying the feature. They may increase the price if they get it to truly work, but I suspect a hundred odd a month is what most people are willing to pay.

So, probably a joke.

I mean, there was no AI in the finished product.
- Comment on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 loses Game of the Year from the Indie Game Awards 4 weeks ago:
People pointed out that the game did use AI-generated assets as placeholders, but then replaced them with human-created assets later.
I don’t see why this is such a big deal?

I had the exact same idea, you could upload your data to cloud storage, and have them write it to the doodad and send it to you.
