if you are new, consider moving to a piefed instance like piefed.social. the feature is not a part of Lemmy at this time.

Alternatively, you can use an app like Voyager which has a getting feature.
It’s easy knowing not to bother engaging with someone who has “Asshole” next to their name in red.

yes, voyager is quite good. although it should be noted that the user warning and user notes are two separate features on piefed, so even if you haven't added a note to a user, piefed will still warn you that they have a bad reputation.
