papalonian@lemmy.world 7 months agoI was gonna write a response to this but it was pretty much just a rephrase of my other response. tl;dr I don’t hate furries as mentioned and idc if you’re amongst the “normal about their hobby” crowd but in more than one instance I’ve encountered people very not normal about their hobby and I choose not to associate with them. 🤷🏾♂️

To be fair, there are people like this, probably also on these forums, about almost every hobby. Gun nuts, programmers, “sweaty” card/board/video gamers, etc.
