I’m not trying to be harsh, but putting it that way is a “both sides” comparison that has repercussions. You can’t even name a single one, much less the many were tried and sent to jail for performing a failed coup. Now you know you’re accidentally moving the Overton Window so I hope you stop.

So I’m wondering maybe far right individuals are just better at spreading their message than far left people. If I remember correctly wasn’t Green Peace a pretty terrible group back in the 80s(?), think they bombed places right? I think they reformed from that and are ok now but I never hear from them anymore. You might consider PETA a far left group too

Both Green Peace and Peta are Climate and and animal activists, they’re not a political organization like say, the Republicans. The Republican former president tried to take over our country by force, they are not equal. Are we going through the list of ways to deflect?

This guy is clearly not deflecting he is genuinely questioning things he’s not sure on. He’s actively saying he’s not very informed and maybe he is wrong but he’s not sure.
Your points are correct but your comments come off like you are being attacked. Just relax man. Its not deflection, he’s asking questions about things he has heard and is unsure on. He is right, republicans are better at messaging and thats why he has heard this shit before.

Not deflecting genuinely trying to think of far left groups. I understand far right groups are WAY more common and FAR more dangerous. I also wouldn’t consider climate or animal activists exactly a non political thing when they are activists for change of political policies and the sentiments are generally associated with the left

I’m not sure where the goal posts are now. I thought this started out with deplatforming people who spread misinformation, but now you’re considering half a countries political spectrum?

I don’t think either peta or Greenpeace have ever engaged in bombings or similar violence. They are both groups that engage in non-violent direct action.
Yes, the right has a more powerful propaganda network because the ultra-rich overwhelmingly support their ideology and donate huge amounts of money to amplify their messages. Unfortunately, it seems you, like most in the West, have fallen prey to it.
