Kestrels have a wide variation of colors with such a wide range of habitat. This one specifically looks like an adult northern female kestrel to me
- Comment on Texas State Police Gear Up for Massive Expansion of Surveillance Tech 2 months ago:
This is something that was going to happen eventually it’s just kind of ironic that it’s a deep red state going for government surveillance like this

- Comment on Deadlock (Valve's Unannounced Title) Passes 12k Peak Players in Closed Alpha 2 months ago:
Icefrog is an extremely talented dev so this game is for sure to be real fun. I trust in the frog as a life long dota player

This is an outdated sort of meme. I think everyone pretty much agrees PlayStation is the one you want if you want quality games.
- Comment on sounds like he's fun at the office 4 months ago:
I think steam does that when a profile gets reported a bunch for stuff like this.

Whew that’s dystopian. I feel like we in the west scoff now, but with the rise of dipshits I have a feeling we aren’t far behind.

Early days of twitch I think most big channels were speed runners of some sort like binding of Isaac
- Comment on Summer Games Done Quick starts today | June 30 - July 6 4 months ago:
I always forget this shit exists until it’s on. Side note, I don’t necessarily think SGDQ is to blame for the declined interest, I just think most people don’t care for speed runs anymore.
- Comment on [deleted] 4 months ago:
It’s significant because it has been otherwise unknown why he was banned off twitch back in 2017 when he was their biggest streamer. Lots and lots of speculations were had and finally the bomb dropped last week as to why

It’s an election year, Biden being brought up will invoke his competitions name. And people are absolutely using just this topic as a reason to not vote this cycle. They only hurt themselves and everyone else.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
Regardless i prefer Biden over trump and i will still vote for him. However, I’ll make my voice much louder the second term
- Comment on UK: Almost a quarter of kids aged 5-7 have smartphones 6 months ago:
I’ll probably get my kids a dumb phone for school when they get old enough. I want them to have cell service for emergencies of any kind.
- Comment on When did breasts become a thing that needed to be concealed in public and why? 6 months ago:
I feel like it has to be much more complicated than this. Sure they influenced the culture but a lot of polytheistic cultures seemed to also have coverings

Probably CEOs
- Comment on ‘The machine did it coldly’: Israel used AI to identify 37,000 Hamas targets 7 months ago:
Human life dictated by a machine on who to kill. You need to be so fucking cold and evil to be okay with this.
Not only is it heinous it’s also obvious this is just a testing ground for it. Think about it, a testing ground that the test is how many you can kill using AI. We need an amendment to the Geneva convention

- Comment on Reddit user content being sold to AI company in $60M/year deal 8 months ago:
And now those artists can’t sue like others have done. Really hope the products realize this and jump ship
- Comment on Reddit user content being sold to AI company in $60M/year deal 8 months ago:
Does this include art OC posted there being used to train art bots? If I were posting OC art I’d just delete that shit right away, not that it’ll help I suppose
- Comment on Mozilla lays off 60 people, wants to build AI into Firefox 8 months ago:
Honestly, it sucks, but I expected hundreds in line with the other huge layoffs we’ve seen. It being 60 seems more reasonable
- Comment on [deleted] 8 months ago:
I loved the dialogue and NPCs in the game but the perks made the gameplay not fun. I hope outer worlds II solves these issues

Surely this one won’t make certain communities online screech like part 2 surely

So for an MMO OSRS is amazing with this. I can usually connect across the world and notice no lag. In fact I don’t know if I’ve ever had lag with it, whatever they’re doing it’s great.

What can we do if even the elected officials are too big a bunch of pussies to take on pharmaceuticals?
- Comment on Last Epoch Official Launch Trailer | Echoes from the Void 9 months ago:
It’s a decent game, but definitely not on the Grim Dawn levels of polish and build diversity. Maybe that’ll change with 1.0, but I doubt it
- Comment on Until Dawn Movie Adaptation Announced, Annabelle: Creation's David F. Sandberg To Direct 9 months ago:
All those games could get movie adaptations, however, the fun is trying to save everyone and ending up killing everyone instead of
- Comment on how can I develop a thick skin? 9 months ago:
In this situation you need to remember life happens. She is a human with a complex life too. Your immediate response to get this angry is slightly alarming and something you should bring up to her because you need to work on it.
Also don’t think of this as wasted therapy, you did do therapy just not in the way you think. You were put into a situation that heightened your emotions and you now need to control those emotions and face them. That’s therapy.
- Comment on GTA 5 Actor Ned Luke Calls Out 'Bulls**t' AI Chatbot That Uses His Voice 9 months ago:
Maybe a few different things, one requires physical effort and skill the other, while impressive tech wise, is relatively easy to use and replicate. The other reason is probably because it’s easy to abuse as we’ve already seen with other news about “fans of x celebrity get scammed by deepfake”. And another even if it’s not a scam using their voice for financial gain is really easy
