    Collusion and bandwagoning are real things. A large number of accusations implies guilt a lot more, but doesn’t make it reliable. Trump particularly is slippery when it comes to pinning thing on him.

    Women aren’t good or evil, they are human. Most are honest, some aren’t.

      Not a trump supporter by any means and I feel like I have to preface this on Lemmy but my buddy lost his house/wife/100k in lawyer fees when a HS girl accused him of exposing himself (he’s a teacher) in front of the entire class …the trial went on so long some of the kids from his class graduated HS and testified against the girl that falsely claimed he did this. He “won” but news sites won’t redact the accusations till this day and none of them posted he was in the clear. 25 other kids testified against the girl saying that didn’t happen in class but yet he was dragged through the mud. He still believes in believing woman but when shit like this happens he shouldn’t have had to lose everything

        This is why we need to be teaching kids about the importance of high quality evidence and how to find it.

        Right now we’re on the hunches and bible quotes track.

      A classmate of mine is in prison because a female friend of his told him a dude assaulted her. He went and beat the dude to death. She lied, he never touched her, she was just mad at him and wanted to hurt him. She was never charged with anything, either.

    Are they a public figure that half the country hates? That probably makes unverifiable testimony a bit less impressive from an evidence standpoint.

    (though just to be clear I’m far more inclined to believe them over trump, not trying to defend the dickhead)

      Well it’s definitely flushed out people who are being biased against victims and didnt even flinch to hold the accused as capable of lying.

      So OP isn’t more stupid than the people replying to them with such garbage.
